PLEASE NOTE: Due to the challenges posed by COVID-19, returns by mail can take up to 2-3 weeks to process. We appreciate your patience as we work to process returns as quickly and safely as possible.

 

Returns

If you are not 100% satisfied with one of our products purchased directly from Melanin Money’ website, you may return it within 15 days of purchase for a refund.
To be eligible for a return, an item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your return does not need to include the original packing slip to be accepted.
To return your items, follow these steps:
  1. Repackage your product(s)
  2. Email us with your intent to return your purchase at customerservice@melaninmoney.com
  3. We’ll email you back with a return label.
  4. Print out this label and affix to your package with purchase.
  5. Drop off at your nearest post office.
Please allow up to 5 business days for your refund to process one the returned product is received by our warehouse.
If there is a problem with your order, please be sure to contact us immediately!

 

Exchanges

At this time, we do not accept exchanges. However, we will provide a return label (at no cost to you) via email for any orders that were fulfilled incorrectly.

 

Refunds

You will receive a refund in the form of a credit to your original payment method within 5 days of us receiving your return. Shipping costs for the original order are not refundable.

 

Order Confirmation and Tracking Numbers

You will receive an order confirmation email within two hours of placing your order. This confirmation will give you the order number and indicate the total value of the merchandise.  If you do not receive an email, be sure to check your personal Spam folder. Alternatively, the email address may have been spelled incorrectly.
If you are still unable to locate the confirmation email for your order, please contact us.
You will also receive a shipping notification email when your order ships (although there are a few exceptions in cases where your item ships from an off-site distribution center). For most orders, the shipping notification will include information on how to track your shipment.
Finally, you will receive a delivery confirmation email when your package has been delivered.

Changes to Your Order

Once you submit your order, it cannot be changed or canceled. We process orders very quickly, and once an order begins the fulfillment process we are unable to modify it.  We apologize for any inconvenience, and we hope that in the majority of cases our faster processing times work to your advantage. I Only Received a Partial Order, Where is the rest of my order?

Don’t worry!  In order to get your items to you as quickly as possible, we went on and shipped what we had on hand at the warehouse, there was a card in your package stating this. We receive shipments regularly and will fulfilling the rest of your order soon. We’ll be sure to send you the other tracking number as soon as possible!

 

Shipping Information

Due to challenges posed by the pandemic, our carrier is temporarily experiencing shipping delays, which may delay your delivery. We appreciate your patience as we work to get your package to you as quickly and safely as possible.
Melanin Money is not responsible for lost/stolen items. In the case of a lost/stolen package please contact the carrier directly. Once the order is in the possession of the carrier we do not see it again. Melanin Money in unable to replace items lost by the post office or stolen free of charge. We will, however, do everything in our power to assist you!
